Governing Boards

As a congregational church, Park Church is independent and autonomous in governance. Leadership is entrusted to members elected or appointed to positions on the governing boards.

Trustees: Trustees are the congregant leaders who serve limited terms and meet monthly to conduct the business of the church. Subcommittees include property, finance, and personnel. Four members of the trustees are elected by congregational vote to serve limited terms on the executive committee in the roles of moderator, vice-moderator, treasurer, and recording secretary.

Deacons: Deacons are congregant leaders serving limited terms. The deacons support and facilitate worship, ministries, and programs of the church. Subcommittees include IDEA, Congregational Life, Spiritual Formation and Worship and Music Arts.

Independent committees include mission, heritage, Park Church women, nominating and Ad Hoc committees convened as necessary.
