At Park Church, it is important to us that everyone can access our building, our worship services, and the programs and activities housed in this historic space.
If what you would need to become a part of our congregation is not listed below, please contact us at office@parkchurchgr.org and let us know how we can best welcome you to our faith community.
Park Church was formed in 1836. Our Park Church building was dedicated in 1896 and became a National Historic Place in 1982. We are proud of the building’s history and continue to take steps to make it as accessible as possible to everyone.
● Our entrance vestibule is off of the parking lot and has automatic door openers and is easily navigable for someone who uses a mobility support device.
● Our parking lot has multiple spots for individuals who may need to park closer to the door.
● An elevator inside the entrance goes to the second floor sanctuary.
● Worship services are live streamed each week on YouTube.
● We broadcast the live stream into the Spindler Dining Room on the main level for anyone who feels more comfortable in a quieter space.
We are committed to ensuring everyone feels welcome in our historic sanctuary and can fully participate in our worship services.
● Large print bulletins are always available and include scripture readings and hymns.
● A Loop system and a T-coil system in the sanctuary provide support for those with hearing aids.
● Noise muffling headphones are available in the Narthex for any children or adults who may have noise sensitivities.
● Accessible seating is available among the pews along the south and north aisles as well as in the back of the sanctuary. Ushers can help direct anyone who may need assistance.
● Our communion liturgy is held once a month and we make sure anyone who desires to share in the sacrament has access to it.
