Chair Yoga (5:30 pm – 6:30 pm)
Chair Yoga is appropriate for all ages, fitness levels and physical conditions. In this safe and supportive class you will use a chair to assist you in gently moving your body to help you cultivate flexibility, strength, balance, better breathing habits, and improved muscle tone. The chair will serve to assist you in exploring seated movements, as well as standing and balancing pose.
Regular Yoga (6:45 pm – 8:00 pm)
Come celebrate life by experiencing your body, mind and heart through the ancient practice of yoga. Together we explore yoga poses, and learn breathing techniques in a fun, safe environment.
Susan Duesbery is a graduate of the Holistic Health Care Graduate Program at Western Michigan University, and holds a Certificate in Holistic Stress Management Facilitation from the Paramount Wellness Institute in Boulder, Colorado. She offers stress management and wellness presentations; workshops; and consultations to individuals, community groups, professional organizations, and businesses. She does this in order to offer information and tools to foster increased health, more joy, and a greater sense of peace in today’s stressful world. Susan is an adjunct instructor in Western Michigan University’s Holistic Health Care Department, where she teaches a course on Holistic Approaches to Managing Stress.
