A Growing Community
We are unapologetically Christian. We are unabashedly progressive.
Our community of believers comes from across West Michigan. On September 9th we began our 176th program year. We are proud of our long history in the city and it informs how we live today. Even in a deeply traditional space, we live firmly in contemporary life. We are a fellowship of young and old who seek to worship in a meaningful way that combines both traditional and modern elements. We are people of music. From our magnificent organ to choirs to brass quartets to John Lennon, the variety of music enlivens our worship experience. We participate in mission projects locally and worldwide. We value Christian education through programs for all ages. We care for each other through groups both large and small.
We once had a choice, many years ago: move out of the city or stay downtown. We talked, we prayed, we talked some more, and in the end, we stayed – to celebrate where this church has been and where this church may yet go, as we listen for what God is asking Park Church to be in this time and place.
